Rocket League needs a real update

The last big update for Rocket League was Dec. 4, 2019. Heres what they did:

- Keys and Decryptors have been converted into Credits and Bonus Gifts, respectively

- Crates have been converted into Unrevealed Blueprints

- The Item Shop is now live

- New feature: Item Archiving

- The Item Shop is now live

- From the main menu, select ‘Item Shop,’ then the ‘Featured’ tab

- You can find the Esports Shop next to the Featured tab

- Items here can be purchased for the displayed number of Credits

- Use the ‘Buy Credits’ button in the lower-left corner to purchase additional Credits

I understand that they needed to do this update because of legality issues with the "gambling" crate system they were using, but they need to add more content to the game to keep it interesting. Take Fortnite for example, Epic Games were updating their game every two weeks which at times could be frustrating for competitive players, but they kept creating new content for their players, and for the Fortnite YouTube community.

In my opinion Rocket League could take some tips from Fortnite, especially because Epic Games had recently bought Psyonix, the creators of Rocket League. I mean the Rocket League community has been getting so bored with the game that people are creating their own new game modes with special programs. One professional Rocket League player named Lethamyr has created over 50 of his own custom maps that are fully playable, granted there are a few bugs but with Psyonix's help, they could be added to the game.

Here is what I think Rocket League should do:

- Add limited-time game modes that rotate bi-weekly

- Change the garage system

- Update tournaments to operate more smoothly

- Get voice chat working

- Remove 4v4 Chaos game mode

- Hire Lethamyr
